Getting some love from AOL Artists. The curators of this very interesting program at AOL are doing really cool stuff. Check out the Seven on Seven Conference!

New York Magazine Review of 'Here and Elsewhere' at the Bronx Museum of Art (BxMA)

In its 27th incarnation, the Bronx Museum's Artist in the Marketplace program culminates once again with a group show. After a semester of seminars on curatorial practice, copyright law, and other business-savvy topics, the 36 participating, emerging artists turn back to more creative endeavors spiced by sociopolitical concerns. Jesse Alpern explores the Israel-Palestine conflict through lurid-hued landscapes, Hector Canonge tackles domestic struggles with his look at female representations on food-product labels, and Hiroyuki Nakamura satirizes machismo with a cartoonish painting of a cowboy. — Tara Kilachand
